Inspiration in Italy

Italy.  Art, food & wine.

Finding inspiration in this colorful and romantic setting was easy.  With its abundance of rich history, architecture and culture, Italy offers tourists and locals alike the simple pleasures of a cobblestone stroll, a well-prepared meal, and the opportunity to sit quietly and relax.

There for our honeymoon—Yup, we just got married!—Our stay in Italy took us from tranquil, glacial Lake Como, to the timeworn splendor of Venice.  From the rustic charm of Tuscany and the traditional Old World architecture of Florence, to the vibrant stuccoed homes of the Cinque Terre.  With each destination the colors and flavors of Italy inspired us.

Now that we’re home and back to work, we hope to be reminded of our Italy trip often.  Okay, okay, so we probably wont have wine with EVERY meal, but we will be sharing new recipes with friends and family in the kitchen.  That, and we’ve promised ourselves to master the art of the perfect afternoon cappuccino.  We’ve got a long way to go on that one!

We know inspiration can come from anything and be found anywhere.  Here are just a few of our favorite photos from our time in Italy.

We hope you enjoy.

Ciao!
